The word applies to the occupation (professional or not), the methods of gathering information, and the organizing literary styles. Journalistic media include: print, television, radio, Internet, and, in the past, newsreels.
Communication is a dynamic,intriguing field and it is almost impossible to ignore the infoquake that is shaking the way we communicate. Content is created by a generation that relies on video,creative digital design and IT skills to thrive in a rapidly changing multimedia world.
Media assumes greater significance because of its role in mediating cultures,influencing national and international affairs.Critical thinking ,creativity and free flow of ideas is vital to the development of democratic societies and media therefore acts as a means for convergence of ideas and changes.
